Next-day and oversized delivery to the Channel Islands and other offshore locations

Established in the 1960s, Breakwell’s is family-owned road haulage and logistics specialist business with a well-developed transportation network within the UK and to offshore island destinations. Over the years, we developed a unique approach to logistics that allows us to provide a special delivery transport service for urgent deliveries, oversized products and items that are difficult to transport.

We have a bespoke fleet of vehicles that meet international shipping requirements so your special delivery parcels will not have to be moved from one vehicle to another in transit. This reduces the chances of accidental damage on route. Our trained staff have the knowledge and experience to handle items with special requirements with the care and attention they require.

With our comprehensive tracking system, you will be able to also monitor the progress of your delivery and you will be instantly notified when the product has arrived, so you have peace of mind knowing that your special delivery is on time. For those urgent deliveries that simply can’t wait, we can even offer next-day delivery subject to conditions.

Special Delivery Destinations

At Breakwells, we are experts in the special delivery of parcels from the UK to the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm), The Isle of Wight, and The Isle of Man. We can also do deliveries to other areas, upon request.

We can also deliver items from the offshore islands to our Kidderminster depot in the West Midlands. If you need a special delivery service from the islands to an address in the UK, we could also accommodate that, so simply get in touch with the Breakwells team to see how we can help and get a quote.

Worried About the Customs Paperwork?

We know that paperwork related to international deliveries can be a nightmare, especially when the items are not standard. To lift that burden off your shoulder, our team can take care of customs documentation for you as part of our special delivery service.

Products Covered Under Our Special Delivery Service

Our special delivery service is designed to transport items that would require additional accommodations such as:

Oversized, bulky and oddly-shaped items
Perishable products and ambient foods
Urgent shipment (e.g. medical equipment delivery)
Fragile goods
High-value goods
Other products with special requirements (e.g. exotic tropical fish)

We are also proud to be the chosen carrier for many high-street fashion stores as well as high-quality products by premium manufacturers.

Special Delivery Prices

Every special delivery is different, so we will need to calculate the price based not only on the size of the item and the distance covered but also on the nature of the product and any additional steps we need to take to transport it safely.
