We take great care in packaging and shipping fragile items to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. While we provide standard RHA cover for any damage or loss during transit, this may not fully cover fragile items. For additional peace of mind, we highly recommend purchasing extra insurance when shipping delicate products. Preparing fragile goods for shipping can be tricky, so we thought we’d give you some handy tips on how to pack, wrap and seal your package for maximum efficiency and safety.
Use a high-quality, heavy-duty box
- Don’t reuse boxes as their durability degrades with each use
- Leave space for additional protective wrapping in the box
- Use bubble wrap, styrofoam, cardboard dividers & other protective materials
- Wrap each individual item separately, but place more than one item in each box
- Lightweight materials, such as paper and airbags, aren’t recommended for fragile items
- Use tape that says FRAGILE to seal the parcel when possible
- Ensure all labels are clearly visible and easy to read
